This top is modeled after a sweater version I bought about four years ago, every time I wear it someone asks where I got it. I haven't seen anything similar since so I decided to make my own version for the summer. The best thing is it only takes 10 minutes and there is no sewing involved.
Materials: 1-1.5 yds of jersey fabric (if you want a fuller top, get 1.5), scissors, chalk
So cute! That is so unique! Lovely DIY.

I followed your tutorial using a thrifted charcoal grey, thin, stretchy, airline blanket. (of all things!) It only cost $4! I am extremely pleased with the outcome!!! It is even cuter than I thought it would be and oh so comfy and versatile! I hope to make several in different fabrics and colors. Thanks so much for the tutorial and I'm trying to patiently wait for your styling tips post!
ReplyDeleteOkay. I am in love with this. Seriously.
