The Postcard Project: January

January Postcard download: front/back
This past year I have fallen more in love with postcards and handwritten letters. They hold so much meaning and have the ability to make and capture so many memories. Postcards can be short and sweet but also very thoughtful. I've never been one to take up a year-long challenge but this year I am putting myself to the test! At the beginning of each month, I will design a new postcard and make it available for you to download so you can print it out on card stock and send to your friends/pen pals.

Whether you have a long list of resolutions, goals or simple habits you would like to break I think all of those things stem from a decision. A decision to discipline yourself, do something new or step out of your comfort zone. I have my own personal resolutions/goals I want to keep to myself this year but my motto for everything is to just make the year great by making the choice to celebrate life, to have fun, to travel, to try new things and to know that the low moments are just as important as the high moments. Make 2014 Great.

I'm excited and a little nervous to see how this turns out, I just really hope I stick with it and I hope you join me in this challenge! If you are looking for more postcard inspiration, check out this post on how to make your own postcards.

  2. I've been collecting vintage postcards for years, and gathering them from every trip we take. I love sending mail as much as I love receiving it. I've started making my own this year, and it's so much more exciting!
