India | Holga Film

I arrived back in America on Saturday. India was such an adventure and life changing trip. I am still processing so much that happened so for the time being, I will share some shots I took with my Holga film camera. I have stories to share and other photos but I'll share those later.

"Travel isn't always pretty. It isn't always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that's okay. The journey changes you-it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you...Hopefully you leave something good behind." -Anthony Bourdain

Guest Post: Clay Pot | DIY

Hillary from The Painted Arrow is here to share with you a cute and simple DIY while I am still away in India.
"I saw these cute tiny clay pots on pinterest and instantly fell in love. i love the quirky style, so the handmade pots were a must."
 S U P P L I E S : oven baked clay, melon baller, acrylic paint ,paint brush

D I R E C T I O N S :
so all oven baked clay is kind of hard. word of advice, be patient. it softens as you play with it in your hands. i wanted the pots small, but bigger than the ones i saw on pinterest. so i used a whole block of clay. for these pots, i rolled both into a ball, then molded it into the shape i wanted, then scooped out the center with the melon baller. next i baked them at 275 degrees for 25 min. let them cool for a couple hours, then paint!

I think they speak for themselves. so cute!
